Summer Stage Tracks
Little Stars at Summer Stage
1st & 2nd Grade
Little Stars is a specialized program for our youngest performers, first and second graders. Performers will have fun, full days packed with classes in voice, movement, and theater games; along with rehearsing their original mini-musical! Students will be exposed to theater techniques through play and fun, resulting in confidence and skill development while expanding their creativity and imagination. Special attention will be paid to each child’s growth throughout the program. The culminating mini-musical performance will be open to family and friends on our main stage!
Musical Theatre Intensive
3rd – 9th Grade
Participants will audition, rehearse, and perform a full scale musical in each three-week session. This advanced track integrates training with rehearsals for a project-based learning experience, ensuring that all will be simultaneously preparing for performance as well as enhancing their skills.
Musical Theater Studio
3rd – 9th Grade
Participants will have the opportunity to further develop their skills in all aspects of musical theatre performance by taking classes in acting, voice, and dance as well as preparing for an end-of-session Musical Revue. This track is geared towards those who want to focus on developing their skills in preparation for more advanced projects in the future. Our Musical Theatre Revue track offers a little bit of everything – some training workshops as well as some performance experience!
Acting (Session 2 Only)
3rd – 9th Grade
Participants will audition, rehearse, and perform a Full Scale Play or One Act Festival (shows TBA) in each three-week session. This performance track will focus in all areas of non-musical acting where all will be integrating training with rehearsals
Please note that participation in Musical Theatre or Acting is by audition only. All Musical Theatre participants will audition and be placed in either Intensive or Studio.
