We offer private (1:1 instructor student ratio) and semi-private (1:2 instructor student ratio) swim lessons here at the Riverdale Y year-round. Private lessons provide more personalized instruction by one of our talented swim instructors. Choosing private lessons allows for customized approach based on your aquatics goals while also offering flexibility in scheduling.
Private swim lessons can be purchased in packs of 1, 5, or 10 sessions (30 or 60 min durations). Riverdale Y members are eligible for discounts on private swim lessons year-round. Prices and packages are listed below.
How To Book Lessons
If you are interested in booking lessons, please complete this private swim request form. Once you have completed the form, our team will reach out to assist with your request. Know that booking is subject to instructor availability and we will make every effort to fulfill your request.
Private Swim Lessons Policies:
- We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. You will forfeit any lesson cancelled or no-show within 24-hours of the scheduled lesson, please contact the instructor directly.
- Not street shoes are allowed on the deck. Shoe covers or deck shoes must be worn while on the pool deck.
- Swim cap is required. They can be purchased at the front desk.
- Googles are encouraged. They can be purchased at the front desk.
- You must shower before entering the pool. Showers are located in locker rooms and one on the pool deck.
