As the sweetness of Rosh Hashanah lingers, we now turn our focus toward October and the power of civic engagement. No matter what party you support, one truth remains: our community is stronger when we each take part in choosing our leaders.
Riverdale Y is proud to serve as an early election site from Saturday, October 25 through Sunday, November 2. During this period, older adults can receive transportation to and from the Riverdale Y for voting, Monday to Friday from 8:30AM to 2:30PM.
I invite you to join me in making the voting process welcoming for all. Volunteers can help with voter registration and outreach at the Riverdale Y and the Sunday Market. Your time can make your life part of something larger, rooted in action and belonging.
