As the year draws to a close, Riverdale Y glows with the warmth of community. In the past weeks, volunteers have served holiday meals, honored veterans, and filled our halls with music, laughter, and purpose. From the Sunday Market to our Thanksgiving celebration, every act of giving has reminded us how much brighter life becomes when we show up for one another.
December invites reflection and renewal. Hanukkah lights remind us that small flames, acts of service, kindness, and generosity can overcome the darkest days. Our Sunday Market season closes with gratitude for every vendor, neighbor, and volunteer who kept this shared space thriving.
Looking ahead, we prepare to gather for the MLK Day of Service, a weekend of learning and action that begins our new year with compassion and hope. Join us as we continue building Beloved Community together.
