Early Childhood Center

Here at Riverdale Y, we believe the foundation of early childhood education is a cooperative partnership among children, parents and teachers. Our Early Childhood Center is a trusted community pillar, featuring a full day nursery school program for children ages 2 through 5, including Pre-K for All, with early drop off and extended day options. We also offer after-school enrichment programs, summer camp, infant and toddler classes, and so much more.

The Early Childhood Center is a fun, safe and nurturing environment where children build their self esteem while developing their school-readiness, social skills, independence, language and creative arts, early literacy, math and science exploration, as well as swim instruction and indoor and outdoor physical activities. The Early Childhood Center provides Riverdale families a safe, caring environment and quality education.

Our school offers:

Classes for 2, 3, and 4 year olds
Free PKA and 3-K (priority seating for current 2yr old students)
2 playgrounds and an outdoor learning spaces
Before and after care – 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
After-school enrichment options
