I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued dedication in bringing sweetness and care into our world. Through all the mitzvot you’ve performed, you have truly enriched the lives of everyone you’ve touched. I genuinely appreciate everything you have done, and I extend my warmest wishes to you, your mishpacha (family), and your friends for a Shana Tova, a Happy New Year.
As we celebrate the year with honey and apples, symbolizing our hope for a sweet year ahead, I urge you to consider the needs of others who may be seeking hope as well. I’ve recently learned of several families with children aged 6 months to 6 years who are in need of clothing, supplies, and more. The children require warm coats, hats, and boots, while the babies need sleep sacks. These families are immigrants from a Latin American country, and as we hope for goodness in the year ahead, I ask you to look into your heart and see if you can help fulfill this hope for them.
For the next few weeks, there will be a clothing drive bin in the lobby. If you have any clothes for children aged 6 months to 6 years, especially winter wear, please consider bringing them to the lobby. We kindly request that you donate new or gently used clean items, as we won’t have the means to clean them. Clothing Drive Ends on Monday, October 9nd, when we sort and prepare to pass along the items.
Your generosity can make a significant difference in these families’ lives as we begin the new year.
L’shanah tovah tikatevu,
Alexandra
