This 45 minute play- an intimate portrait of Heschel, portrays moments that span his life from his time in Germany before the Holocaust to his relationship with Dr. Martin Luther King. In the Jewish prophetic tradition, Heschel’s Passover Eve” is a call to action for civil discourse and human rights that is as relevant now as it was when Dr. Heschel was marching arm-in-arm with Dr. King.
