This Sunday, December 14, marks our final Riverdale Y Sunday Market of the season! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our shoppers, vendors, volunteers, and community partners for making this one of our most successful years yet.
This season brought so many exciting developments — including our move to the beautiful new location at St. Gabriel’s Church and the debut of our new market truck, which helped us expand programming and community enrichment.
We held weekly raffles for Market Bucks, and our special Thanksgiving Dinner Raffle allowed us to give away 25 turkeys to local families. We introduced a vibrant Kids Corner filled with games, bubbles, crafts, and activities that quickly became a favorite stop for our youngest market-goers.
Throughout the season, the market came alive with cooking demos, kids’ concerts, a reptile show, puppy adoption events, and Zumba sessions—all helping to make Sundays feel like a true community celebration.
