- Entering Grade 10
Teens entering 10th grade can have a leadership training experience that will enable them to become great counselors. The program combines working with children,group work, swimming, sports and other favorite camp activities. Prospective CIT's must successfully complete a pre-camp training course. During the camp season,
CIT's have individual and group supervision. After successfully completing the
program, CIT's receive a stipend.

Just a few minutes beyond the Tappan Zee Bridge in beautiful Rockland County, you'll find The Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds in Pearl River. The cool, green 125 acres of woodlands, fields, stream, and lake feel like a sleepaway camp in the mountains. The tall woods and wide green fields offer ball fields, volleyball, three large outdoor swimming pools, two full-length basketball courts, two playgrounds, shelters, bathrooms and showers.
